[Fix] Windows 7 after upgrading Ubuntu to 10.04 LTS
Posted in Computer Services San Diego on May 29th, 2010 by Computer Services San Diego – Be the first to commentHere’s the things you will need: To install testdisk then type the following command in Ubuntu via the Terminal: YOU MUST BE ROOT LEVEL SO TYPE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE DOING ANYTHING: sudo -i Then it will ask for your password (which you use to login with) after that you will be granted with root permissions. Now just type the following command to install ‘testdisk’: apt-get install testdisk After that’s installed just type: testdisk (all one word no spaces!) And then just follow what I do, and hopefully you should be able to access your Windows again if not then do post a comment and I’ll be sure to help you out guys. I do apologize for the quality even though I recorded this from a HD camera, but had to lower the resolution down to enable the zoom function. Please follow me on Twitter: twitter.com
